Presented is an intact roman silver fibula. T shaped brooch with traces of ancient gold gilding are still present through out. Recessed Arch design with long catch plate and intact pin. Hairline crack just above the tail end
Brooches or pins called fibulae were used to pin shut tunics and cloaks, and came in a wide variety of styles. Most were bronze, and decoration included enamel inlay.
